From Grooming to Advanced RehabilitationHelen’s entrepreneurial journey began when she founded Wagz Pet Boutique, a premium grooming salon that quickly grew into a tremendous success. Always listening to the needs of local pet owners, six years later she expanded her vision to create The Doggy Drop Inn—a fully licensed, loving indoor creche designed to lift owner guilt and provide a safe, enriched daycare environment.A decade ago, Helen expanded her expertise into canine sports medicine and rehabilitation, embarking on her journey as a canine hydrotherapist. Over the last 10 years of practicing hydrotherapy, she has witnessed first-hand the incredible, life-changing impact that water therapy has on a dog's quality of life. A Continuous Dream: Worksop Hydrotherapy Centre, Helen’s dream reaches its highest peak yet with Worksop Hydrotherapy Centre. Her passion for helping injured animals, supporting dogs with chronic medical conditions, and aiding swift, strong post-operative recoveries has driven her to achieve the prestigious Advanced Level 4 Qualification in Hydrotherapy. By combining a decade of practical hydrotherapy experience with an elite level of clinical training and our state-of-the-art Tudor underwater treadmill, Helen and her team are proud to offer the highest standard of evidence-based care in the region. At Wagz grooming, Worksop Hydrotherapy and The Doggy Drop In, our mission remains unchanged: to enrich the lives of dogs, support their humans, and provide a premium, trusted facility that local vets confidently recommend.

Christine has always had an immense passion for dogs—with a particularly soft spot for German Shepherds! If you have been a client of ours for a while, you will likely remember Christine from our grooming salon before the day care even opened. She has been an integral part of the family since day one, over 15 years ago, starting as a groomer’s assistant while pursuing her formal animal care education. Christine embarked on her professional journey with animals a little later in life after successfully running her own businesses. Deciding to turn her lifelong passion into her career, she went back to school and achieved an impressive roster of qualifications, including a Level 3 Diploma in Animal Management, a Level 3 City & Guilds in Dog Grooming, and her International Professional Groomers Certificate.

Meet the Centre Manager: Vicki Vicki joined our day care team two years ago, and we are absolutely thrilled to announce her recent promotion to Centre Manager! Vicki has a deep, lifelong love for animals and the great outdoors. Horses have been a massive part of her life for as long as she can remember, which sparked her lifelong passion for animal care and spending time in nature. As the proud owner of two German Shepherds, Vicki truly understands exactly how much our dogs mean to us. She knows first hand how vital it is that our pets feel loved, happy, and completely safe whenever they are away from home. A true countryside lover, Vicki is happiest out in the fresh air exploring nature. She is incredibly family-oriented—married with a daughter and a stepson—and firmly believes that family extends to our four-legged friends, too! In her role as Centre Manager, Vicki’s absolute aim is to provide a fun, caring, home-from-home environment. She ensures every single dog walking through our doors is treated as one of the family, receiving plenty of tailored exercise, attention, and, of course, lots of love.
